Whitney is a nurse practitioner, board-certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, and is currently licensed to work in the state of Alabama. Whitney graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor's Degree from the School of Nursing in 2012. She began her nursing career at Gadsden Regional Medical Center on the cardiac unit. Soon after, she obtained a job in Labor and Delivery at Jacksonville Medical Center. She also has nursing experience in Postpartum, Pediatrics, and Same Day surgery recovery.
Whitney earned a dual Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner in Family Health and Mental Health from The University of Alabama in 2016. She has previous experience in Primary Care and Urgent Care. Whitney is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the lifespan but focuses on Women’s Health. She is passionate about collaborating with patients in regard to their overall health and wellness, including physical, mental and spiritual needs.
Whitney grew up and resides in Piedmont, AL. She has been married to her husband, Tyler, for 8 years. They have one daughter, Hattie Grace, who is 2 years old and a dog named Willie. She is an active member at Piedmont First Baptist Church where she is very involved in the youth and children ministries. Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading in her spare time.
